Inspiring Young Innovators Through Hands‑On STEM Learning
The Nepalese Association of Indiana (NAI) proudly offers FIRST® LEGO® League (FLL) robotics classes designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and confidence in young learners. Through teamwork, problem solving, and real‑world challenges, students explore the exciting world of science, technology, engineering, and robotics in a supportive, community‑centered environment.
Our program helps children develop essential skills such as critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and innovation — all while having fun building and programming LEGO robots.
What Students Gain Through NAI’s Robotics Initiative

Why NAI Created This Program
The FLL robotics initiative is part of NAI’s mission to expand educational opportunities for youths in our community. By offering accessible, community‑centered STEM programs, NAI helps children discover their potential while strengthening cultural pride, confidence, and connection.
2024-2025 Unearthed Season:
For the 2024–2025 Unearthed season, NAI is hosting two official FLL Explore teams, both formed and supported entirely through the organization’s initiative:
Team Yeti
A curious and energetic group of young innovators who love experimenting, designing, and sharing their ideas.
Team Everest
A creative team exploring how technology and imagination can help solve real‑world environmental challenges.
Both teams use LEGO Education SPIKE™ Essential kits to build models, explore STEM concepts, and present their discoveries at FLL festivals. NAI’s volunteer coaches and mentors guide students through hands‑on activities that nurture curiosity, teamwork, and confidence.
