Tournament Rules and Regulation

LEAGUE GAMES

• Each league game will have 13 minutes of half (26 minutes of regular game time and extra time as needed).

• 13 mins game-  5 mins break -13 mins game- with injury time

• Winning team will get 3 points and losing team will get 0 points

• If a game results in a draw (tie on scores) them both teams share a point (1 point each for both teams)

• If a team forfeits, then they will automatically lose the game with a final score of 0-3 or the current score of the match if the current score-line is a better margin than 0-3.

• If teams have the same points then the rank will be decided on the following priority (Head to Head, Goal Difference, Goal scored, Yellow Cards).

• Every player MUST have played with the Nepali soccer group or have a valid ID or document that proves the player is an Indiana resident.

• League games will be played on August 16 and August 17. Top two teams in the league will play the final.

FINAL GAME

• Final game will be played on 08/17/2025 at 3 pm. After the game, we will hold a closing ceremony for the tournament.

• The final game will have 20 minutes of half (40 minutes of regular game time)

• 25 mins game - 5 mins break - 25 mins game -  injury time

• Winning team will get one trophy and 13 medals.

• If a game results in a draw (tie on scores) until 40 minutes of regular time, then the game goes into extra time (Total minutes- 6 minutes each half)

• If scores are level at the end of Additional Extra Time(AET) then we will have penalty kicks as a tie-breaker.

• Penalty rules: 5 penalties for each team. The highest soccer out of 5 penalties will be declared the winner.

• If the score remains tied after 5 penalty kicks both teams will take penalty kicks will be be sudden death. Match officials will toss a coin each time before kickoff, before AET, and before penalties.

• If a team forfeits. Then they will automatically lose the final.

GENERAL RULES

• No CUSSING/VULGAR language IN and/or OUT of the fields. Each cussing and vulgar language is a $5 fine. We will be taking this very seriously

• While two teams have a match, 2 members from other teams will be a linesman. We will be hiring a referee independently who will not be affiliated with NAI or any teams.

• A NAI member will also be keeping a separate timer for the game

• Game will be played 7 a side with a Goalkeeper, who is allowed to use his hands to save

• If the rules are not mentioned, we will be following a FIFA guidelines.
