Holi Celebration

Holi, also known as Phagu Purnima is the festival of colors celebrated all over Nepal. This festival marks the arrival of spring and celebrated as a symbol of the triumph of good over evil.
People throw different color and water filled with balloons at each other. It is one of the most waited festival in Nepal, especially the youth generation.

Every year NAI organize Holi event for our Indiana Nepali community where people of all ages gather at a place and smear different colors at people’s faces. People of all ages celebrate by singing and dancing together and enjoying the snacks. We can see children playing around and sprinkling powdered colors at each other.
