Game Regulations

PLAYERS AND EQUIPMENT

• A team can have a maximum of 12 players.

• 8 on-field players including a goalkeeper

• All players are requested to wear shin guards.

• All players should wear assigned team color NAI jerseys except for the goalkeeper.

• Firm ground soccer cleats are preferred during playing time.

REFEREES & SECURITY

• Please respect the referee. Dissent will not be tolerated. The player/manager will be booked and if continues doing so will be sent off.

• All refereeing decisions are final.

• Referees are allowed to take as much time to analyze the situation.

• Referees have the right to warn, ask to leave or eject from the field, any player or spectator whom they feel is restricitng him/her to officiate the match.

MATCH DETAILS

• Each league game will be 20 minutes each half

• Each game will be played in 80x55 yards field

• 5 minutes half time breaks

• Teams who don't show up after 10 minutes of the proposed start time will automatically forfeit as we have booked field for each game (Forfeit's final score line will be 3-0).

• Any team will be disqualified in case of fights or other misbehaviors.

• We will be using throw-ins with hand.

• Direct and indirect free will be in discretion of referee decision. You cannot score goals directly from an indirect free kick

• Referees wont be stopping a match timer if the ball is out of play. The appropriate injury time will be added upon referee's discretion. 

SUBSTITUTES

• Unlimited substitutions are allowed as long as the referee is made aware of the changes.

• Substitutes must enter and leave the field of play at the referee's discretion.

• Substitutes players are requested to sit or stand by changing the outfit that does not match with the on-field players' jersey color or wear a pinnies provided by the match officials.

DISCIPLINE

• Verbal warning

• After verbal warning, second offense will be a Yellow Card
  2 Yellow card in a game=Red Card. Player will have to sit out the game

• Direct Red card- Player will be out for the remaining time of the match

• Player/Team infiating the fight or any misconduct in and outside the field have to leave the premises right away and will be expelled from the tournament.

  • One Yellow card=$5 fine

  • One Red Card -$15 fine

  • Captains are responsible to pay for booking fee

FOULS AND MISCONDUCT

• The referee will deal with all fouls and misconduct which will be penalizad accordingly.

• Slide tackles are not allowed. A slide tackle is a yellow card offense and a red card offense if the studs are up. Goalkeepers are allowed to slide tackle inside the D box.

• However, horrendous tackles, and deliberate handball by defensive players in D-box will result in a penalty.

• Vulgar words intended to other players result in misconduct and will be penalized.

• No off-side rule
